Teach East / We / Us / Our:
Teach East or its affiliated entities.

Account:
Your user registration on Teach East, including credentials and profile.

Content:
All materials, text, images, videos, user profiles, CVs, course listings, application info, etc., provided by you or other users.

School Partner:
An educational institution or organisation using Teach East to find or engage educators.

Educator / Teacher Candidate:
A user seeking opportunities through Teach East.
2. Eligibility & Account Registration
- You must be at least [18] years old (or the legal age in your jurisdiction) and have the capacity to enter into binding contracts.
- When registering, you must provide accurate, up-to-date information. You are responsible for keeping your account information updated.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. Use of the Services
- Teach East connects educators with teaching, tutoring, and school roles globally. You agree to use our Services for lawful, legitimate educational and professional purposes.
- You must not use the Services in any way that violates applicable laws or rights of third parties, including intellectual property, privacy, or data protection rights.
4. User-Provided Content and Materials
- You grant Teach East a license (non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free) to use, store, transmit, and display any Content you upload or provide purely to enable the Services.
- You represent and warrant that you own or have rights to all Content you submit, and that use of such Content does not infringe any third-party rights.
- We may remove or refuse to display any Content that we believe violates these Terms.
5. Fees and Payments
- If certain features or services are paid, details of pricing, payment terms, and billing will be clearly presented.
- Payments are due in full before accessing paid features, unless otherwise agreed.
6. Intellectual Property
- All rights, title, and interest in Teach East’s proprietary materials (software, site design, branding, content owned by Teach East) remain with Teach East or its licensors.
- You shall not copy, reproduce, create derivative works, reverse-engineer, or exploit the Services beyond what is permitted here.
7. Privacy & Data Protection
- Use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you consent to that Policy.
- You agree to comply with applicable data protection laws when submitting personal data, particularly of students, educators, or other third parties.
8. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers
- The Services are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind (express or implied), including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
- Teach East does not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from delays or lapses.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, Teach East’s liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be limited to the amount you have paid (if any) for the relevant service over the preceding 12 months, whichever is less.
9. Termination, Suspension & Account Closure
- Teach East may suspend or terminate your access (in whole or part) for violating these Terms, non-payment, inactive usage, or for any other reasonable cause.
- On termination, your right to access the Services ends. We may delete or deactivate your account and associated Content after any required data retention period.
10. Changes to Terms
- We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will post notice of material changes (e.g. via email or site-notice) and update the “Last Updated” date.
- Your continued use after such changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales and, where applicable, the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
- Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms shall be resolved in the courts or arbitration of the chosen jurisdiction.
12. Miscellaneous

Entire Agreement:
These Terms, along with the Privacy Policy and any additional policies referenced, constitute the full agreement between you and Teach East.

Severability:
If a provision is held invalid, the remainder shall remain enforceable.

Assignment:
You may not assign or transfer your rights/obligations under these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them freely.

Notices from us may be given via email or via the website, and will be deemed given at the time of sending.
